Physilect is a rehabilitation solution enabling professional level physiotherapy to be provided in home environment. Physilect employs motion sensor, which identifies and tracks joints of the human body. We use the sensor to track patient’s performance and compare it with the exercise stored to Physilect database during the initial phase of the treatment. This approach enables instant biofeedback to be provided for the patient. So the system guides the patient throughout the exercise and corrects if there are deviations from the “ideal” way of doing the exercise. This ideal way is tailored by the physiotherapist for each patient individually, so Physilect takes into account patient’s basic condition and specific limitations.
Our unique know-how is related to digitizing exercises and storing them to Physilect’s database to be further used for building a patient specific rehabilitation plan. As soon as such a plan is built by a physiotherapist and stored to our cloud service, patient can start exercising at home and get a professional level supervision directly from the system. A physiotherapist can follow the progress remotely, as the cloud service notifies him/her if any problems occur during the exercise. In case the plan requires some modification, it can be also done remotely.
Physilect consists of
Motion sensor
LCD screen
Intel NUC Mini PC
Physilect software and cloud service
Physilect allows our customers to
activate patients for regular independent exercises
motivate them by providing a gamified user experience
provide a professional level treatment at home
make patient specific rehabilitation plans and update them remotely according to the progress
remotely track patient’s performance both on quantitative (number of reps) and qualitative (correct execution) level
provide patients with instant biofeedback
Physilect can be used by people of different sex, size and age. It can be applied for orthopedic, neurologic and geriatric rehabilitation.
Physilect Balance (Stabilect)
In the beginning of 2017 we have added a new feature, which enables testing patient’s balance and dynamically tracking it during the exercise.
Physilect Balance includes
standard balance tests, i.e. Romberg test
balance tracking during the exercise
detailed reports
Physilect Balance does not require any wearable sensors or balance boards and therefore can be used as a stand alone or complementary way of providing valuable information about patient’s ability to keep balance.
3D motion analysis
Our newest solution is a biomechanical 3D motion analysis. It allows a very precise tracking of selected joints, including their position and trajectory, as well as velocity and acceleration. Such an analysis is very useful for fitness and sports-related applications, including prevention of injuries and post-operative rehabilitation.
